Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
This privacy policy outlines how we handle your information when you use our services. We recognize the importance of privacy and strive to comply with Google's terms and regulations regarding data protection.
Section 1 - What do we do with your information?
When you purchase a product from our store, we collect the personal information you provide, such as your name, address, and email address. When browsing our store, we automatically receive your computer's IP address (internet protocol) to provide us with information that helps us understand your browser and operating system.
Email Marketing (if applicable): With your consent, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.
Section 2 - Consent
How do we obtain your consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for delivery, or return a purchase, we assume you consent to our collection and use of your data for that specific purpose.
If we request your personal information for a secondary purpose, such as marketing, we will ask for your explicit consent or offer you the option to decline.
How can I withdraw my consent?
If you change your mind after giving consent, you can withdraw your consent for further contact, the ongoing collection, use, or disclosure of your information at any time by contacting us at info@henrys-watches.com. If you would like us to amend, correct, update, or remove the information we hold about you, you can contact us at info@henrys-watches.com at any time.
Section 3 - Disclosure
We may disclose your personal information if we are legally required to do so or if you violate our Terms and Conditions.
Section 4 - Shopify
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases and general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card information. This data is encrypted via the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete the transaction. After it is completed, your purchase transaction data is deleted.
All direct payment gateways meet the standards set by PCI-DSS as administered by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure that the processing of credit card information by our store and our service providers is secure.
For more insight, you can also review Shopify's Terms and Conditions (https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms) or Privacy Statement (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy).
Section 5 - Third-Party Services
In general, the external service providers we use will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide to us.
Certain external service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, however, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we must provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policy so that you understand how your personal information is handled by these providers. Note that we have no control over, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of these third parties. It is therefore important that you read and understand their privacy policy yourself.
Please note in particular that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are in a different jurisdiction than you or we are. If you choose to proceed with a transaction involving the services of an external service provider, your information may be subject to the laws of the jurisdictions in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
For example, if you are in the United States of America and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, your personal information used to complete that transaction may be subject to disclosure under U.S. law, including the Patriot Act.
As soon as you leave our store's website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer subject to this Privacy Policy or the Terms and Conditions of our website.

When you click on links in our store, they may take you away from our site. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other sites and recommend that you read their privacy statements.
Section 6 - Safety
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure that it is not improperly lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the data will be encrypted using SSL security (secure socket layer) and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
Section 7 - Cookies
